There’s only two months remaining to enter your photos into the Kolo Monthly Photo Contest 2010. This is your chance to win your favorite Kolo albums and boxes, along with earning some extra cash. The grand prize winner will get $500 cash and $500 worth of Kolo merchandise. Six second place winners will receive $100 cash and $100 worth of Kolo merchandise, announced on February 1st, 2011. Iwona Borkowska transformed this red Kolo Cotrina Lux album into a photo collage sharing countless stories of a city’s daily life to its deep history. The mixture of photographs and written words throughout the book tells a narrative through one citizen’s eyes. The careful arrangement and layout design of each page helps capture the feeling of a vast city and place it onto the pages of one singular book. While attending the College of Technology and Economy and the Art Academy WI Strzeminski, Iwona Borkowska studied textile design, photography, film and video communication. -Kate |

Please join me in congratulating September's winners of the Kolo Monthly Photo Contest 2010! The fifteen lucky winners will receive a $50 worth of Kolo merchandise and are automatically entered to win the grand prize of $500 cash and $500 worth of Kolo products, to be announced on February 1, 2011. Photographs are judged by a panel of expert photographers and designers. Winners will be directly contacted with information about receiving their prize.
